I know that a lot of people will write a Thankful Thursday post however I decided to write one on Monday.
Things I am thankful for today:
- that I even survived today - I had three events happening today and I usually only do one a day with my boys
- that the boys behaved themselves while Joey and I had a meeting with his planting coach today – this was a miracle in itself and they were rewarded with football doughnuts from Krispy Kreme.
- Josiah had a good 2 year checkup – He is at 75-90% for height and at 50% for weight on the Down syndrome growth chart, on the typical developing chart he is 25% for height and 10% for weight. He had blood drawn to check his thyroid function(which is every 6 months) also a CBC count to check for levels of lead and white blood cell count (kids with Down syndrome have a higher risk of childhood leukemia)
- quality time with Jonah and Josiah tonight by ourselves – I gave them an early bubble bath and then let them lay in bed with me to watch Sprout
- that Joshua had a good first night of baseball practice - this is his first year playing modified and he said he had a lot of fun
- most of all that Jesus is near us each day to lead us through – “I lift my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121: 1-2
